What we did for team Abela
To get the ball rolling, we worked with the abela founder to define the brand strategically.
During this process we helped the team to articulate the cornerstones of the abela brand, like its principle archetypes, tone of voice and overarching goals.
BRAND STRATEGY

From there, we were merged strategic thinking with creativity to craft the abela brand aesthetic.
Not just any aesthetic but one which exudes a sense of financial empowerment and inclusivity, with a modern and dynamic design that combines vibrant colours, friendly typography, and relatable imagery, showcasing the company's commitment to providing unbanked individuals with the freedom to manage their finances on their terms.
BRAND identity
1 - 2 weeks
Once the brand had been defined, we turned our energy to the team's digital product: the abela banking app.
First, we created a comprehensive blueprint for the Abela application, detailing its full UX system. We outlined each end user’s experience and interactions with Abela, allowing the founder to visualise the digital product. Once the system was perfected, we added the visual and interactive aspects through an iterative process of UI design.

4 - 6 weeks
Once the product was ready, we helped abela establish a presence online through the design and development of a bespoke site.
To help drive abela's overall marketing efforts and achieve user conversion goals, we designed a website that would allow customers and prospects to easily learn about abela and transact accordingly. From wire framing to content development to design and layout, we did it all - plus carried through the brand's friendly, engaging aesthetic for maximum brand consistency.
