What we did for team Co2 Expert
To kick off, we worked closely with innovator, Selwyn, to establish ‘who’ Co2 Expert is.
During this process we helped the team to articulate the cornerstones of the Co2 Expert brand, like its principle archetypes, tone of voice and overarching goals.
BRAND STRATEGY

Once the brand was articulated, we created a high impact brand aesthetic for Co2 Expert.
Not just any aesthetic but one that would convey a sense of environmental consciousness, sustainability and simplicity whilst also working to create a sense of energy and urgency related to climate action.

We then moved into the design of an interface style guide to determine how the brand's digital assets would look.
Using the existing Co2 Expert brand as the cornerstone of the deliverable, we crafted an interactive digital style-guide to guide the interface design. With the inclusion of everything from button styles to select controls, this deliverable serves as a single source of truth for the visual style of all Co2 Expert's digital assets.

With the groundwork laid, our team was able to move into the design of the core Co2 Expert value proposition: their carbon emission calculator.
First, we created a comprehensive blueprint for the Co2 Expert product, detailing its full UX system. We outlined each end user’s experience and interactions with Co2 Expert, allowing Selwyn to visualise their digital product. Once the system was perfected, we added the visual and interactive aspects through an iterative process of UI design.

With the application conceptualised and ready to be sent for development, we designed the Co2 Expert website.
To help drive Co2 Expert's overall marketing efforts and achieve user conversion goals, we designed a website that would allow customers and prospects to easily learn about Co2 Expert and engage accordingly. From wire framing to content development to design and layout, we did it all - plus carried through the brand's iconic yellow aesthetic for maximum brand consistency.
